Free Letters

This project, I was assigned to make 3 Dimensional letters of a word in a style that expresses an emotion/theme of the word chosen. For my word I chose Free. When I was thinking of what freedom meant in our country I was reminded of the Statue of Liberty as our symbol of freedom and what it meant to our country at the time.  I decided that I wanted to represent the word “Free” with pennies that had an oxidation look. In other words, the copper colored pennies turned green; similar to the Statue of Liberty turning green due to the salt water of the ocean.
